This student magazine cover was inspired by two Empire Magazines I have seen. I took the elements of putting the coverlines into boxes as it makes the coverlines stand out. I also took the slanted writing from another Empire magazine cover, as yet again, it draws the readers attention. I chose these specific saturated colours as they are bold, almost glowing colours which especially appeal to teenagers as they like bright, bold colouring. I wanted for the image to be very bright as it is almost a metaphor for the bright futures of students that we are trying to encourage, as well as to match the main coverline which is talking about bright futures for students, as is the masthead, "future stars".
